If I wanted cute capri pants or comfy sweat suits, there’s no shortage of maternity wear available.  But what to do about the ‘business suit’ for the expanding belly?  My regular suits might get me cited for indecency as I can’t zip them anymore, so a maternity business suit is in order. With only 2 days notice before I needed to wear it, time was a little short (no time for alterations).  Travis was nice enough to accompany me to Motherhood Maternity and a few other stores (he’s a very good sport).  Fortunately, there was a suit there that:  1. fit  2. I don’t need platform boots to make the pants the right length  3. Looks nice  4. Lots of room to grow.  We tested it out with the baby shaped pillow available in the dressing room.  I can’t imagine that I’ll ever have a belly that big, but I guess we’ll see.
