We found plenty of things to pick at Larriland Farm yesterday!  The proof:

We picked 7 varieties of apples (about 65 lbs), broccoli, and spinach as pictured above.  We also started the day picking tomatoes (since it still hasn’t frozen here) and fresh basil so you KNOW there’s a killer Caprese salad in our future!  Here’s our loot once we got home:

We went to the Sherwood Varsity Homecoming game last night and were happy to see the Stormin’ Warriors win 35-0 even though the first half was a little rough.  The real football fun, however, was this morning at the JV game.  Seth had quite the cheering section in the stands, although the loudest cheers from our area were definitely for the Chain Crew when they finally got to go out and measure a close call.  Thanks to all our Glen Mar UMC friends (or “Glen Martians” as apparently members of our church are known to be called) for coming to the game!   3-month old Owen wins the prize for the youngest fan ever, and he was super cute in his Sherwood-colored fleece combo outfit!   After the game, we all went to the Olney Ale House for a tasty lunch.  Ah, the wonder of the perfect October football game!   Oh yes– we won 30-0!!
