Geoff suggested peach. Christy wondered about pear. I contemplated lemon. We were all in the wrong category. As of 13 weeks, Baboo is……..a jumbo shrimp!! And you KNOW whom that makes me think of…??!
My fave Pepe commerical for Long John Silver’s a few years ago was when he said , “Eeeez public relations, non?” I actually just found a site with the commericals on it so GET EXCITED!
For more humor, below is the link to Pepe’s screen test.
You crack me up. I don’t remember this commercial at all! Nice job actually finding it so we could all relive the excitement.

Wow, what an obscure and unknown ad campaign (at least to me, and I normally am completely up-to-the-moment on the fast-food seafood game). I don’t see how it didn’t get more play. I really like the screen test.
Oh, and what’s with that comment above? Lawyers… what a bunch of jerks, right?

Travis– do you remember the sponge monkey ad campaign for Quiznos? I think of these two as around the same time. I bet you weren’t in Texas anymore when Pepe debuted. Do we even get LJS commercials up here? There are several more for your viewing pleasure at “Pepe’s Lounge”: ljs.winnercomm.com/Pepes_Lounge.html
