We’re getting close.

Yesterday, we had both the electrician and the plumber continue work. You can see an outlet on the end of the peninsula that the electrician installed. The biggest change was from the plumber, though. He installed all the plumbing, including everything for the sink, the dishwasher, and more. We have a snazzy new sink and faucet that pulls out. There’s a brand new snazzy Insinkerator Evolution Compact garbage disposal that makes almost no noise whatsoever. We also finally have a water line run to the refrigerator, which means the ice maker that we’ve had for 4 years can finally actually make ice. These are some of my favorite improvements.

Today, the tile guy laid all the tile. It’s setting tonight, and he’ll come back tomorrow to grout. Note that the tile is laid on an angle (very stylish) and is very snazzy as well. We’re getting close…
